🇬🇧 We also planted an apple tree, dug up all the old potatoes and ate them. My mint is no longer growing at all, though. We had to clean everything out before it became overgrown. In long-term, we want to build a proper bed and raised bed there, next to the new apple tree. None of us here are experts in this field - feel free to send me tips, or even holiday visit requests 🐎
It just feels like Isla Bonita, the "social experiment" (🇩🇪) in Spain, when the weather got better and more people came to the paradise. The newly arrived didn't know how much work was done in advance, but realised that a lot of love was put into everything. It's much the same here - a magical place with lots of possibilities. More on this below.

Between Christmas and New Year's Eve, we had another open weekend, this time with many Indians but also other nationalities. That's also where I made my first special sushi, with rice and shredded chia seeds.
Shortly after Christmas I took a little trip with my Flixbike 🚴🏼‍♀️ ... and once again realised that everywhere celebrates differently, and that nature... shocks, positively shocks! These images are burned into my mind forever.
At Christmas, the last missing box arrived from Ruhrgebiet - including chocolate, a new Ethnotek-Thread, laptop, and HDD docking station. Now all the footage from the tour is here.

👩🏻‍💻 I've already sorted out a lot and uploaded the first bunch of pictures to my new homepage. There's still a lot to do, but I'm quite optimistic about it.
I finished my current homepage during the tour and fixed bugs in an occupied forest in Germany, for example. If anyone needs a simple travel blog with a map: I can recommend Serendipity (https://docs.s9y.org/) with a clear conscience. My geo-addons are now quite perfected, completely open-source/GPL, and now with Spanish translations.
⌨️ At the moment I am recreating the "Rainbow Map" plugin for Drupal. However, I am primarily developing another plugin, which I call "Responsive Image Parts". It will be possible to highlight and label image parts - for example my bicycle, upcycling constructions, drawings, and other things. In the past, this was easy to do with "HTML Image Maps". However, today with smartphones and "Responsive Design", this is no longer a good idea. The existing solutions include too much JavaScript and are somewhat inflexible - at least for me. That's why I'm developing something that doesn't need JavaScript at all and can be customised as needed. I think the whole thing has the potential to replace everything that has been used so far. In the long term, I hope for standardised SVG/HTML functionality.
And another smartphone is running LineageOS now, completely without Google and other commercial rubbish. The owner is truly more than satisfied and after 1.5 weeks there is still nothing to complain about. Google Maps has been replaced by OsmAnd~, the countless pre-installed online storages have been replaced by a NextCloud installation, the local network storage is now integrated with SFTP (Material Files), K9-Mail, Telegram, OpenCamera, Fennec and Tor-Browser are running perfectly.
So, that's enough of my full-time open source work for now 😉

We continued to network here and came across a local swap market. The founder is German, but speaks many languages. In addition to the swap market, there will be talking circles soon. The first bring-your-own brunch has now also taken place 🥧
I went to the swap market by bike. I left before sunrise because I had a 4 hour ride and the market started at 10:00. There are a lot of open-minded people around, including musicians and many other Germans, some of whom have "escaped", especially for the sake of their children ❤️
There are plans to introduce a local currency, and the people are very much behind it, just like me / us. At least since the Project Veritas video a few days ago, it should be clear to _everybody_ that things can't continue like that(!).

I was able to recover my backpack after several years. It was with me almost everywhere: at the demonstrations in the Hambi, Extinction Rebellion events in about half of Germany, on all previous "smaller" bike tours, daily use at work, food sharing, anti hamster wheel events and fairs, hitchhiking and now on this tour in all weather conditions. I had many backpacks before, but my Ethnotek "Raja 30" is really indestructible. Only the thread has dissolved over time.
Thanks a lot to Andi @ Kong Island Bochum who made all that possible. Also for his superb anti-system actions, events and talks earlier!

The day before yesterday I uploaded a 3600km track. We are going to the SISC Camp 2023 in Denmark! It will most likely be a road trip, with a somewhat longer stay in Germany in July. But it is also possible to cycle a part of it. Apart from the dates, not much has been finalised yet. I'm currently making a small list of things I should, would like to and could do there. For example, doing paperwork, giving talks (do you know any good places?), visiting friends and family, possibly starting something of my own and talking/networking with special people.

🇩🇪 Wir haben auch einen Apfelbaum gepflanzt, alle Kartoffeln ausgegraben und aufgegessen. Meine Minze wächst allerdings nicht mehr. Wir mussten ein bisschen ausmisten, bevor alles zuwuchert. Auf lange Sicht soll dort, neben dem neuen Apfelbaum, ein richtiges Beet mit Hochbeet entstehen. Wir sind hier alle keine Experten auf diesem Gebiet - Tipps gerne an mich, oder auch Urlaubsbesuchs-Anfragen 🐎
Es fühlt sich gerade an, wie bei Isla Bonita, dem "Sozialexperiment" in Spanien, als das Wetter besser wurde und mehr Leute ins Paradies kamen. Die Neulinge wussten nicht, wie viel Arbeit im Vorfeld geleistet wurde, aber merkten, dass ganz viel Liebe in alles gesteckt wurde. Hier ist es ganz ähnlich - Ein magischer Ort mit vielen Möglichkeiten. Weiter unten mehr dazu.

Zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr hatten wir wieder ein offenes Wochenende, diesmal mit vielen Indern zu Besuch, aber auch andere Nationalitäten. Dort sind auch meine ersten Spezial-Sushi entstanden, mit Reis und geschroteten Chiasamen.

Wir haben uns hier weiter vernetzt und sind auf einen lokalen Tauschmarkt gestoßen. Die Gründerin ist Deutsche, spricht aber viele Sprachen. Neben dem Tauschmarkt wird es dort bald auch Redekreise geben. Der erste Mitbring-Brunch fand jetzt auch statt 🥧
Ich bin zum Tauschmarkt mit dem Fahrrad hingefahren. Vor Sonnenaufgang ging es los, weil ich 4 Stunden brauchte und der Markt um 10:00 startete. Dort sind sehr viele weltoffene Leute zu treffen, Musiker, auch viele andere Deutsche, die teilweise "geflüchtet" sind, insbesondere den Kindern zu Liebe ❤️
Es gibt dort sogar Pläne eine lokale Währung einzuführen, und die Leute stehen voll dahinter, genauso wie ich bzw. wir. Spätestens seit dem Project Veritas Video vor wenigen Tagen sollte _jedem_ klar sein, dass es so nicht weitergehen kann(!)

Meinen Rucksack konnte ich nach etlichen Jahren wiederherstellen. Er war so gut wie überall mit dabei: Bei den Demos im Hambi, Extinction Rebellion Events in halb Deutschland, bei allen vorherigen "kleineren" Fahrradtouren, täglichen gebrauch bei der Arbeit, Foodsharing, Anti-Hamsterrad Events und Messen, beim Hitchhiking und jetzt auf dieser Tour bei jedem Wetter. Ich hatte viele Rucksäcke vorher, aber mein Ethnotek "Raja 30" ist wirklich unkaputtbar. Nur der Thread hat sich mit der Zeit aufgelöst.

Vorgestern habe ich einen 3600km langen Track hochgeladen. Wir fahren zum SISC Camp 2023 in Dänemark! Wahrscheinlich wird es auf einen Road-Trip hinauslaufen, mit einem etwas längeren Aufenthalt in Deutschland im Juli. Es ist aber auch möglich, einen Teil per Fahrrad zu fahren. Bis auf die Rahmendaten steht jetzt nicht viel fest. Ich stelle mir gerade eine kleine Liste zusammen, was ich dort tun sollte, möchte und könnte. Beispielweise Papierkram erledigen, Vorträge halten (kennst du gute Orte?), Freunde und Familie besuchen, evtl. was eigenes starten und mit besonderen Menschen sprechen/vernetzen.

Menschen dieser Welt, fühlt euch gedrückt! Ich gebe euch ein bisschen meiner getankten Sonnenenergie weiter ❤️🌞
