Using a good Wi-Fi hotspot and calling with the Telegram messeger works. But for that please write me in advance. I don't have Wi-Fi everywhere. In the Netherlands nearly everywhere is some public Wi-Fi, but not everywhere are sitting places and the heat at the moment is another problem.

I'm currently in Leeuwarden, talking with some other people. I will update this post later.

I have a new prepaid card, Aldi Talk. If you have a missed call with a new number, this was maybe mine :-) This number is only for phone calls. Messengers like Signal and Telegram still use the old one.

Now here is the story of my smartphones. I will call then by the place where I got them from.

Bochum

This is the oldest smartphone of my tour, a Sony Experia Z3 Compact with LineageOS. Before I had 4 other "Bochums". All went broken, but I could exchange them with a new one because of the warranty. I learned how to protect it and how to fix some problems. The latest "Bochum" was nearly broken when I started the tour. So I bought a new one, called "Dortmund". Later Bochum didn't accept the memory card anymore, the distance sensor was broken, the display has some smaller problems.

Dortmund

Dortmund was in an original box. When I wanted ro prepared it, it was just black. But I could fix that. I had to charge it a long time, then everything was fine. Until Berlin I used it for routing and photos. In Berlin Bochum didn't accept memory cards anymore. So I installed Bochums backup onto Dortmund. Then I was bricked, no way to turn it on anymore. So I bought a new Z3 Compact in Berlin. I got rid of the phone in Warffum.

Berlin

After I installed LineageOS on this phone and continued my tour, I noticed that Berlins front camera and the SIM card slot was broken. So I planned to buy a new one in Hamburg. I used a working Backup from Bochum for Berlin. So all messengers, map etc. was on this phone. Later it fall on the ground and the back side was looking ugly. In the Netherlands it fall again on the ground and was only usable with hard buttons like volume. Thats the reason why you should better write me again what you wrote last.

Templin

Here I got a smartphone from the flying spaghetti monster. I never used it because installing LineageOS and backups was to hard and only working with old versions. It was not used much, but five years old. I gave it to Jess and Lukas I met on my tour next to Oldenburg. They were really happy about it. Now they can use OsmAnd and phone each other.

Hamburg

Later I was in Hamburg and could organise another Z3 Compact, my fourth Z3 in my backpack. It went really crazy to explain people the story of my smartphones :-D In Oldenburg I installed LineageOS, now it runs very nice. It's protected with a cover and a better glass. But that's also the reason I have to charge it in a different way.

Baflo

I told people the story of my smartphones. So they offered me a new smartphone. But I forget it there. Thanks anyway ❤️

Second SIM card

Now I have another number to phone. It's a prepaid card from Aldi Talk and has 10,00€, valid until October 2020 when I can't recharge it somehow. Maybe somebody from Germany can post me a code to charge it and make it expire later.
